I've been a part of this community for seven years and Lane County for thirteen. I'm a father of a first grader, a music instructor and performer, and I'm a dedicated volunteer in our community helping everyday to support the people who make our region great.

 

Why am I running? Florence is filled with dedicated, passionate people who are working to make our town better. I look around and I see a group of people who care about our town and are committed to helping our kids and teens. They deserve public servants who mirror their dedication and commitment.

If elected, I will commit to serving our young people by supporting our teachers, faculty, and administrators by focusing on policy that is productive for students. Policies that will help them to meet their goals in a safe, well-funded, and welcoming environment. I'll accomplish this by:​

• Voting for policy that focuses on student achievement and student safety

• Focusing on input from our community and our talented teachers and district administrators

• Encouraging active engagement by board members in productive policy making

I've served my community in many capacities. As a volunteer, as a music instructor for kids, and as a performer here in the Siuslaw region. This election, I ask for your support as a father who wants what's best for my kid, just starting their academic career in the 97J, and what's best FOR ALL KIDS
